Born as the solo emotionnal outlet of G. Galaup (Blurr Thrower). Limbes' musical approach is as fierce as it is idiosyncratic, both embeded in black metal tradition and forward-thinking bliss. Cascading black metal tremolos crash against pummeling drum machines while distant scream, sometimes without a microphone, right at the audience's face, offer maximum catharsis. Each live performances are a torrent of distorted textures and sonic hyper-sensitivity, sublimated with canvas like video projections, created by Les Furtifs (Year of No Light, Arabrot, Fange). Wether in the most prestigious settings such as Paris' Philharmonic in April 2024 or 17th century churches,, s festivals such as Summer Dying Loud (PL) and Tyrant Fest (FR), or in the most DIY venues, Limbes' music creates a deep sense of intimacy for the audience to dive into.
